Shangrila Green Marble Freestanding Bath

Marble is a natural stone and requires gentle maintenance to preserve its appearance. Clean using a pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaner only. Avoid acidic or alkaline products including bleach, vinegar, limescale removers or standard bathroom sprays, as these can etch and permanently damage the surface.

After each use, rinse thoroughly with clean water and dry with a soft microfibre cloth to prevent water marks and mineral deposits.

Bath bombs, coloured bath salts and heavily fragranced products must not be used, as they often contain dyes and chemical additives that can stain or react with natural marble. The bath is sealed prior to dispatch, however correct ongoing care is essential.

Marble is naturally porous. While your bath is professionally sealed, exposure to dyes, hair colouring, strong cosmetics, harsh chemicals or prolonged standing water may result in staining.

Immediate cleaning of spills and proper maintenance will significantly reduce this risk. Natural variations and subtle changes over time are part of the character of genuine marble.

Weight varies by model and size. As a guide, most solid marble freestanding baths weigh between 500kg and 900kg unfilled.

Exact weights are listed within each product specification. Due to the substantial weight, appropriate handling equipment is required during installation.

Marble bathtubs are significantly heavier than acrylic alternatives. If installation is not on a ground floor, we strongly recommend consulting a structural surveyor or qualified builder to assess load-bearing capacity.

Depending on the construction of the property, additional reinforcement may be required. Structural suitability is the responsibility of the customer.

Delivery is arranged via a specialist heavy-goods courier due to the weight of the product.

We will contact you prior to dispatch to arrange a suitable delivery date, with a time window confirmed closer to arrival. The bath will be offloaded using specialist lifting equipment.

Delivery is strictly to the exterior of your property. The courier will not enter the premises or carry the bath inside.

You must ensure there is clear vehicle access and safe unloading space.

If your renovation is not complete, we recommend arranging secure ground-floor or garage storage. Alternatively, coordinate delivery for the same day your renovation team is present to move the bath directly into position.

Internal handling and storage are not included within the delivery service.

Installation is not included. We recommend installation by experienced professionals familiar with handling natural stone products and appropriate lifting methods.

Improper handling may result in damage and may void any applicable warranty.

Due to the bespoke and made-to-order nature of our marble bathtubs, returns are not accepted unless the product is faulty.

Customers must ensure all measurements, access routes and structural considerations are carefully checked prior to ordering.
